The Tennessee State men’s hoops team ( 11-10, 3-5 OVC) have dropped three of their last four games and are in desperate need of a victory and will look to right the ship Thursday when they head to CApe Girardeau, Missouri to take on the Red Hawks of Southeast Missouri.

After a split last week, the Tennessee State men’s basketball team heads to Cape Girardeau to face SEMO on Thursday who sits in a six-way tie for first place in the OVC. The Tigers are desperate to move towards .500 as the OVC parity climate will separate this week and are back at home on Saturday to conclude a series with Lindenwood.
WHERE TO WATCH & LISTEN: TSU expanded its partnership with Cromwell Media, naming 102.1 FM The Ville as the flagship TSU men’s basketball station. “The Voice of the Tigers” Greg Pogue returns for his 11th season behind the mic and will be reunited with his longtime partner Albert Dawson. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the contest not the actual tip time in doubleheader situations. The action can also be heard on the TSU Tigers app.

CLAY HITS 2K AND CAREER-BEST: Jr. Clayreached 2,000-career points and jumped into 17th all-time in the OVC scoring list after dropping a career-best 33 points on the road at Little Rock. Clay also tied a career-best with 11 made field goals, and six three-pointers; and set bests with 24 field goal attempts and 10 two-point baskets. Before arriving at TSU, Clay spent four seasons at OVC foe Tennessee Tech, scoring 1,661 for the Golden Eagles. In 19 games as a Tiger, Clay is at 360 total points (18.9 ppg).
